Looking Forward to the Fall

 Howdy y'all! 

With the end of July comes with gearing up for the Fall Semester! We are so excited to get back on campus and meet students! Before we can get there we have our Licensing Ceremony, which will be Thursday, August 1st at 7:30pm. This ceremony will be held at our Summer FOCUS and it is a time where staff get to commit to serving our students and striving to lead people like Jesus did! This time is so sweet especially when we get to make these commitments to a room full of our students! Saying this, I would love for all of you to be a part of this special event, whether that is in person or joining in on stream! The graphic below holds all the info for both options! Thank you so much for your role in making this possible! 



We are so excited for this next school year and would love prayer for the students we are going to meet on campus. We pray that during the events we are putting on the first week of classes, crowds of students will come through the doors ready to hear about Jesus and the special opportunity we get to have in community! We pray that our returning students come into the school year excited to meet other students in their classes and show their classmates the heart of Jesus through the relationships they cultivate. We pray that our staff embodies the hearts of Jesus and that we would listen to the Spirits call wherever He might lead us! Prayer is one of our most powerful tools and I would love it if you would joining me in this!

After one of our staff meetings we went to Tongue in Cheek (an Ice Cream shop) for some free Ice cream! Here is most of our Collin Team (missing 3 peeps) and a student we ran into from Dallas College FOCUS!

Exciting News!

 Hello Everyone! Time is flying by! How are we already at the end of February?! It truly does not feel real to be coming closer to the end of this apprenticeship.  This month has been so busy and God has been doing so many great things in our ministry, from non-believers engaging in conversations about faith to seeing girls who have been Christians their whole lives getting serious about building their adult life on God! It has been a true blessing to be a part of! Even though this month's update could be about so many things, I want to share some exciting news will all of you! How is it already NOVEMBER?!

 Hey friends! Wow, I can not believe it has already been 3 months since I began this apprenticeship journey! Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers, I truly could not do this without all of you! So much has happened since my last update, so let's dive in!      First, I got baptized! What a joyous and life giving experience that I got to share surrounded by some of the people who have been such an example of Jesus to me. Adriana, one of our senior staff members at Collin and one of the fastest friendships I have ever made, baptized me. A New Year Full of Even More Blessings!

 Hey friends! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! God has done so much in my life this past year and I can not wait to see what He does this year!  One semester of the Apprenticeship down, one semester to go! What a joy it has been and this past month was no different!  This past semester was filled with friendship, fun, self reflection and crazy growth! God has shaped me so much and I can not wait to see how He continues to do so. He has placed so many people in my life that has challenged me and showed me Jesus through their care for me. Some of these people are my fellow apprentices! They have been such lights to me and I truly feel as though I have gained 9 new siblings through this journey.
